Yesterday I received this email:

Hi Wolfy
I finally got round to getting back to this and tried your link below but unfortunately the page wont come up. Is it the right address?
Cheers

in response to my email I had sent a few days earlier:

Now when I received this I thought that I must have screwed up the domain re-direct from my old domain diyoroutsource to handsoninternetmarketing however as you can see from the link above I missed the .com!
Don’t expect that people will see this like you or I will when the link doesn’t work. And also don’t expect people to let you know unless they’re friends or really, really keen.
So how can this be avoided? The easiest thing todo is not to type these links but to copy and paste them, eg go to the relevant page and then copy and paste the address bar. Also it can be very useful to have a simply text document to keep a list of those links you use all the time. This will allow you to copy and past the correct link with ease every time.
On windows us notepad, on any linux box you should have gedit (called texteditor in the menu) available and on the Mac there is text editor however that is not a bare bones editor but a rich text editor. See our resource page to find a link to textwrangler, a mac bare bones editor.
